Visit the Museum

The Tycho Brahe Museum, is situated on the island of Ven just outside the coast of Landskrona, Sweden, at the site where Tycho Brahe in the 16 th century built one of Europes first major scientific institutions.

In 2005 the municipality of Landskrona opened a new Tycho Brahe museum in the island's former All Saints Church. The museum is full of models, films, animations, etc. in order to best tell the story of  the life and work of Tycho Brahe.

At the museum there is also a playground with a historical theme, an underground observatory, a reconstructed renaissance garden, outdoor exhibitions and the scaled Planet Path.
